2008 Christmas Card

Oh, Santa we been so very good
Good as good can be
We hope you’ll leave us lots of toys
Underneath our Christmas Tree

Matilda likes toys that really squeak
So she can make lots of noise
Tatiana likes lots of packages
So she can just guard her toys

Oh, the packages that we love to sniff
We know has something good to eat
We can’t wait to tear them open
And enjoy all our yummy treats

Mommy and Daddy and both of us
Send you Christmas Love and Joy
Our wish is for Peace on Earth
But Santa, please don’t forget the toys!!!

Cigar Boxes

"In the Club" Cigar Box Oil Painting

I'm enjoying painting "oil on cigar boxes" right now. I have a great source since we own a Martini Cigar Bar! They make great gifts and I've sold quite a few too. I line them with Black felt and people do love them.

Daddy in "Wood Worm"

"Wood Worm"
5 x 7 Oil on Canvas
As part of my "getting back to basics" I found a photo of my 95 year old Daddy in his wood shop. This is a 5 x 7 painting which of course, I'm giving to him! I do treasure this little painting. When I first started Woodworking myself he called me "Wood Worm" - so I had to name this painting that!

One of my Favorites

"Pot and Apple"
12 x 16 Oil on Canvas
I took inspiration from two paintings I saw....this is the result.....

Joes Brandy and Cigar

A good friend of ours with his Brandy and Cigar at our bar, Belloo's. I took this photo and not real sure how to do the lighting but it was fun to do. I'll hang in the bar!

Lauren's Straw Hat

"Lauren's Straw Hat"
11 x 14 Oil on Canvas
One of my favorite models and fellow singer, Lauren....I love painting her face!

Doggie Nap

"Doggie Nap"
6 x 6 Oil on Gallery Wrap

I have never done a painting this small but this is what I'm trying now - small studies! It's 6 x 6 (yes inches) and I have decided to hang in above Tatiana and Matilda's little bed in our living room. Every dog needs a piece of Original Art!

I'm doing a smaller series of different paintings trying to "learn" more. I'm enjoying this a lot and will get back to my larger paintings later.

Garden Daisies

I took this photo in my Garden last year - I love my Daisies and I get that love from my Grandmother Green - she grew fields and fields of them!
